At Fox Tennis Academy, our coaches bring a wide range of playing and coaching experience to the court. While each coach has a unique background and coaching style, we share the same goal — helping every player build skills, confidence and a better understanding of the game.
OWNER & DIRECTOR OF TENNIS
Dainyell Fox brings more than 35 years of playing and coaching experience to Fox Tennis Academy. A former ITF professional competitor and Division I collegiate player, Dainyell has worked with players of all ages and levels, from beginners learning the game to competitive juniors and adults. Her coaching focuses on strong fundamentals, smart strategy and helping players understand how to use their skills effectively in match play.

John Ashford
TENNIS PROFESSIONAL
John Ashford brings decades of tennis experience to Fox Tennis Academy as both a player and coach. He has worked with juniors and adults across a wide range of playing levels and is known for his ability to connect with players and make the game enjoyable while helping them improve. His coaching emphasizes solid fundamentals, consistency, smart decision-making and building confidence on court.

A member of the South Carolina tennis community for over 15 years. I’m grateful to have trained under renowned coaches Randy Bloemendaal and Chuck Kriese both of whom graciously shared their decades of experience with me. My coaching experience spans all ages and levels, and I thoroughly enjoy being able to share my knowledge and passion for tennis with others. My goal as a coach is to inspire and empower players to pursue excellence both on and off the court.
